Bachelor of Science

Department of Electronics

The Department of Physics was established in the year 1972. Being one of the branches of physics, the college had started the electronics as one of the optional subjects for B. Sc. Degree in the year June 1983. The main objectives of this course were to provide latest knowledge and getting information regarding modern technology in the electronics field to the students in the rural areas. The Head of the department Prof. Shirgave L.R. and one of the faculty members Prof. Wanje S. B. were taking care of electronics subject. Later on Prof. Bagde G. D joined the Department in the year 1985 as a lecturer in electronics. Mr. Khule R. N. was appointed as a lecturer in physics and electronics in the year 1988. Later on Mr. Chonde U. S. had joined the department in the year 1989. According to the policy of S.R.T.M.U. Nanded, there was separate Board of Studies for the subject of electronics. Because of that, Prof. Bagde G. D. has taken the charge of the Head of the Department of electronics in the year 2006. He was elected as a Dean of the faculty of Science in the S.R.T.M.U. Nanded. Meanwhile he was selected as the Principal of Mahatma Gandhi College at Ahmedpur. He left our college and joined as a Principal of that college. One of the faculty members Dr. Khule R.N. became the Head of the Department of Electronics. Mr. Agrawal S.T. from Adarsh College Hingoli who was surplus faculty joined our Department in the year 2013. He left the department of this college 2016 and joined in the Department of electronics at Shivaji College, Udgir as per the order of joint director of Higher Education, Nanded.after Prof.Dr.R.N.Khule Sir retirement Mr.S.M.Kokulwar took charge as Head of department of Electronics. Now our department has well established laboratory and able to carry various experiments and projects in electronics. Alumni of the department were serving in various institutes as a Teacher, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Librarian, Principal and other government department.
