Program Objectives:

• To create trained manpower in accordance with global perspective.
• Develop excellence in teaching, attract students and provide basic support in Mathematics.

• To grow and develop as self-sustaining units of the college.
• Mathematics, being a necessary tool for science and social science subjects, to extend support in Mathematics to the end-users and to improve linkage with society.
• To provide a conducive environment for learning, teaching and research.

Programme Specific Outcomes:

• Provide with the opportunity to acquire mathematics to reach it to at least key stage UG level.
• Build up confidence by developing a feel for numbers, patterns and relationships.
• Enable us to start the postgraduate basic training of mathematics as it is a requirement of the training of basic application of Mathematics.
• Solve the problems independently & interpret the results.
• Communicate and apply mathematical concepts to solve real life problems.
• Develop the abilities to reason logically, to classify, to generalize and to prove.
