Program Specific Objectives:

1. To create political awareness among the students.
2. To inculcate civic responsibilities among the students.
3. To promote the responsible voting behavior among the students and people in the vicinity.

5. To inculcate the democratic values i.e. Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and Social Justice in the students

At the end of the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to-

1. To acquire domain interdisciplinary knowledge through the discipline of Political Science.
2. Study and analyze political contexts from critical and constructive prospective.
3. Have a better understanding of the working of various political institutions (including Decentralized institutions (LSG) state legislatures and parliament) and relate this Functioning to the greater cause of nation building as a responsible citizen.
4. Assess how (to) global, national and regional development affect polity and society.
5. To gain/achieve critical thinking and develop the ability to make logical/rational Inferences about socio-economic and political issues, on the basis of comparative and Contemporary Political discourses in India and Global.
6. Thinking about national and international issues involving States having various Political ideologies and historical contexts.
7. Pursue higher education such as Post Graduate Studies and Research in Political Science and in other interdisciplinary areas to provide qualitative insights to create a Better world
